Why pay when free tools exist?
Because a recording on its own does not tell you what a problem is worth. MousePlayer puts a measured figure next to each point of friction: the goal value that actually flowed through the visitors who hit it. If that number never changes a decision for you, a free tool is the better choice and we would rather you used one.
What actually differs between plans?
Volume and retention - how many projects, how many visitors at once, how long recordings are kept. Every plan gets the same analyses and all 25 integrations.
One honest exception: the REST API and the MCP server for AI agents require Business or Enterprise. Everything you see in the interface is included everywhere.
Can I start small?
The free plan is not a trial that expires. It covers one project and keeps recordings for a week - enough to see whether the friction map tells you something you did not already know. No card, no countdown.
